How to Choose A Cruise Cabin
Once you have selected the cruise line, itinerary, and ship for your vacation, you’re ready to select a stateroom. For the most options, make your plans early. Advance planning will allow more choices, since other vacationers are also selecting their staterooms as they are planning their vacations, and stateroom choices can become limited.
Some things to consider:
- Will you want a window?
- Do you want to be near an elevator for convenience?
- Do you prefer to be away from an elevator, for less traffic near your door?
- Some oceanview cabins offer the option of individual balconies.
- The middle of the ship tends to be the most popular, and these cabins are chosen early.
- Cabins that can accommodate three or more passengers are limited. If you will have more than two people in your room, plan early.
